Traditional English Grammar is a "traditional" introduction to the basic syntactic structure of Modern English and the most common rules in formal writing. Approximately every other page of the book is interactive. And each interactive page is "five pages deep," meaning that there are five alternative interactive exercises for each interactive page. Each of the 12 chapters ends with five twenty-question quizzes covering the material of that chapter. And each third of the book ends with five fifty-question examinations covering the material of the preceding third of the book.
